Encouragement Poem!

I asked God how He wanted to use me.

He kept bringing me people.

I've come to believe that encouragement is one of God's favorite languages.

Because over and over, He chooses to strengthen His people through other people.

I've learned that encouragement is speaking what is true until someone can believe it again.

Maybe that's why the Spirit gives gifts.

Not so we'll be noticed, but so others will be strengthened.

I wonder how many people are waiting for a Barnabas.

Someone who sees what God is up to before it's obvious.

Someone who speaks courage before the confidence returns.

Someone who simply reminds them that God isn't finished yet.

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."
